Coues&Bass Report post Posted September 20, 2010 The bass are starting to turn on at San Carlos. We fished a smalll Tourney with the Military order of the Purple Heart. (Sierra Vista) I think they may have had 9 or 10 boats total. We weighed 9.9 lbs. for five fish just could not get a kicker. We cought about 20 bass though all good football size fish. We cought fish all day long mostly off points on the North side of the lake on crankbaits. Hope to make it back down soon to put some fish in the freezer so I can cook them up in Elk camp in November along with some leftover turkey on the trail.
