Chef Report post Posted November 12, 2010 Was out in the hills again this past weekend and got to play around with the Leica 1600 a bit. It reads quickly at dusk or dawn and when it's overcast out. If the sun is blazing, it tends to read the shady hillsides best. This was true even with my old unit though and I believe most rangefinders. On scan mode, I was able to obtain readings out to 2000 yards. Pretty impressive. I have yet to play with the ballistic portion of the unit. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
