Have a late October muley tag in 8. Never been. Any info would be appreciated

make a few trips - try spot lighting - just no guns/weapons in vechile -

if I had your tag - I'd hunt the fence line going north-and south - of JD tank - park at the cattle crossing just east of the tank - Gary

Thanks for the help. Just got back from that area. I camped close to JD. Saw a few does east of the tank. Thanks for the advice I will give it a try.

Unit 8 has some good deer, so let the little guys grow and hold out for a mature buck Lots of deer live in the pines. The advice you got was a good area. Also try around davenport hill and rosilda spring canyon. I just saw a group there the other day with some nice bucks. Good luck and have fun.

try south of wagoner tank if you dont mind walking some good deer out there on and off the edge of the canyons get out your binos and pick it apart
