Redman Report post Posted September 12, 2010 I had that same pack two years ago, the squeak became louder and louder. Its a design flaw according to Badlands, I called Badlands and that was what I was told (after speaking with the guy for some time). The customer service rep said 1. I could send it back and they can "lubricate" between the frame and the fabric, but the squeak will probably come back. 2. Send me a new Hypervent pack as not ALL of the Hypervent squeak. 3. Send me a new different pack....now I am a proud owner of a Superday pack. The Hypervent is a geat pack feels really good, and I like the tube to put my tripod in, but that squeak drove me crazy. Call Badlands, they will take care of you. Their customer service is fantastic. Redman

BASS Report post Posted September 15, 2010 My 2200 squeaked a bit, i got it soaking wet in the river (long story) and for the life of I can't remember if it squeaks anymore or not. But a huge+ 1 to badlands customer service, they will take care of you big time. I do need to send mine in again, maybe i'll get a new one too!
