Benbrown Report post Posted October 9, 2010 No, it's not a Remington. It's an FN Mauser action--much better if you're a traditionalist like me. However, if you could find one of these in a factory 721, you would have a valuable rifle as I don't think that Remington ever built one chambered for that cartridge. None of my references show one. AZJR Report post Posted October 26, 2010 That's a heck of a deal on a solid rifle...any idea of a round count and what load the older fella shot in that rig and what kind of groups he regularly obtained? Does it have an after-market trigger?
Schmitty Report post Posted October 26, 2010 Smoking Deal. Don, if this doesn't sell in the next couple of weeks, shoot me a pm and I'll get down that way and grab it from you. I'm currently in the middle of restocking that pre-64 .270 that I bought from you and the last thing I need is another project but I'm a sucker for deals. take care, Schmitty

Does it have an after-market trigger? No idea on round count. Probable not over a box. Scope mount screws are still in. I't does have an excellent after market trigger. I don't know what kind.
