firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted September 4, 2010 First day glasssing since my hunt last year. Went out a few weekends ago to check access to a place I haven't in a few years. Went in oday and saw 5 deer and all 5 were bucks two being low 80s type 3x'. It was a good day. Makes me even more excited for deer season! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

B I left late Sat night 2 weeks ago and went down there. I scouted for a few hours Sunday morning and saw a few nice bucks and a ton of mulies. I am pumped to go hunting. huntingfool Report post Posted September 5, 2010 Sorry man I forgot you were going, when Clark bailed on me I should have gone out with you. For the record, I would have gotten a coyote if Clark would have been on stand with me instead of my dog. I've never called that stand but found an access point and knew I would call in a dog when I got around to calling it. Sure enough one came right in at maybe 3 minutes, snuck up on me at about 50 yards. Bootie barked it away, she's turning out to be a worthless decoy dog. Two coyotes have seen her now and neither one seemed interested. I don't understand it, she'd be an easy meal Anyway we'll find more bucks.
