mearnsman Report post Posted September 29, 2005 Hello all, I was fortunate enough to get a 24a Dec tag. I know a little about the unit from my quail hunting adventures but when it comes to deer in the unit I am a little shy on information. Should I hunt north or south? Is there a specific area that gets overrun by hunters? Where is a good spot to begin scouting? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Grey Ghost Hunter Report post Posted October 13, 2005 Thats a great tag in a great area. If you are looking for a good buck you should have no problem finding one. I have seen a lot of good bucks in the Dripping Springs area, all the draws and canyons heading to show Low just out side of Globe around Jones wash, and Seven Mile wash area. All you have to do is hold out for a good buck. Good luck!!!!!!!!!
