CouesWhitetail Report post Posted August 31, 2010 Where is your elk hunt? Perhaps dropping it off at a shop up north would save you some trouble. Jeremyb has a great meat processing shop in Payson. He just signed up as a sponsor and is offering 10% off processing for anyone who shows up wearing a CouesWhitetail.com hat, tshirt or has a CouesWhitetail.com sticker on their vehicle. How cool is that? Browning's Custom Meat Processing 404 South St. Phillips Payson, AZ 928-978-3512 602-708-1920
youngbuck Report post Posted August 31, 2010 Mike Hayes lives in the east valley, pretty handy for me, he neighbors of my parents. He is the one who started Casey's processing in Flag (casey's dad). If your in Flag, Casey's is good. I'd definately give Jeremy a go in Payson if its handy.

AZwest16 Report post Posted September 4, 2010 I had a 5Bnorth Archery Bull tag last year as well. After I shot my bull I took it to Casey's processing in Flagstaff. He did a great job and has a clean facility. Casey also offers several different options of what you could do with your elk. Also take into consideration, its pretty warm during that hunt and you could risk losing some of your meat if you risk transporting it back to the valley. Hope this helps.
