WEC Wreckage

Did anyone watch the WEC Bantam title fight last night? Unfortunately, I set my DVR to record the wrong showing of the fight, but I got the run down from several people and heard Dominick Cruz successfully defended his title....

 

Some may not know this, but Dominick is born and raised in Tucson, and I went althrough junior high and high school with him. He is a great dude and him and I, although never close got along really well and we played baseball, football, and wrestled together.

 

Last time him and Benavedez fought I got a kick out of the announcers becaue they kept saying how much better of a wrestler Benavedez is and Cruz took him down about 10 times, at will!

 

Anyways, just wanted to bring to attention that he is a local fighter and a class act.

It was a great fight! Congrats to Dominick, He is a great person and fighter. He definately put tucson on the map with his great victory!
