rclouse79 Report post Posted August 18, 2010 After picking up my archery over the counter deer tag I go home and start cleaning out my hunting pack and find another tag that looks exactly like the one I just bought. My pin head did not realize that January of this year was also 2010 and I just threw away $35. I will call G&F about a refund, but I already know their answer since I did the same thing with a hunting license a few years ago. Sometimes I feel like I am getting a little dumber every day. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice . . . . . . . . . well you aint gonna fool me again!

DUG Report post Posted August 18, 2010 Too bad G&F isn't smart enough to say "Mr. Rclouse79, you have already purchased this tag for this year."
Mrs125coues Report post Posted August 18, 2010 Too bad G&F isn't smart enough to say "Mr. Rclouse79, you have already purchased this tag for this year." But then they would lose the extra income!!!

mroctober5 Report post Posted August 18, 2010 I might have some input on this, but it might involve bagging 2 deer in 1 year, which is illegal so just forget I said it!

couesdiehard Report post Posted August 18, 2010 Don't feel bad bud. I just went to the bank to cash the refund check from my wife's deer hunt application. Stood in line, endorsed the back of the check, then realized the check is in her name and she is not on my account at this bank.

Jimmer Negamanee Report post Posted August 19, 2010 Thank you for this post. You might have saved me from the same thing. I was just thinking about picking one up then ran to my dresser drawer to find my archery deer tag from "last year" (2010) too! Into my wallet it went. Thanks again.
