yumabowhunter Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Just returned from opening weekend of Blacktail Deer hunting in central California. We had a great hunt. It took a lot of miles and boot leather but I finally stumbled on a pretty good buck. Sure glad I didnt miss......I would have been sick to see him running away. Even though he was a blacktail he had the body of a small mule deer. Almost killed me getting him out of the canyon. The country we were hunting was BEAUTIFUL but thick thick thick.
