Outdoor Writer Report post Posted August 16, 2010 Thanks all. I'm delighted with the mount, but it's still sitting on an armchair until I get some time for a bit of rearranging in the room with all my critters from Africa, NZ and BC. Chris just got the capes for my two whitetail bucks back from the tannery and will be working on mounting them next. It will look something like this one and should be done in about a month. I'll be building the wooden base, though. Doug, Chris and Mary took the photos before I picked up th ORYX! That black set up really makes a nice back drop for a colorful critter. Dale, Although the wrinkles can't be seen in the photos, Chris also added a few on the inside turn of the neck where they would normally appear in that position.
