vinihunt Report post Posted August 12, 2010 anybody from southern, can point me some area for statewide javelina hunt? it is a long way to go since the hunting season start in Jan 16 to March 31 so just to see if anyone know some good spot? I ll be going around unit 16's with brother and cousins since they drew for elk, I know some area near Carlsbad but it is border with National Park. will bring my boys so they can see javelina in wild, not in zoo. anyone from TorC, Hillsboro, Chuillo or that area for Javelina... appreciate your help vinihunt Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
newalleye Report post Posted August 13, 2010 One area you might try is the very southern portion of unit 21B. The area west of Las Cruces north of I-10 has quite a bit of public land and javelinas aren't too hard to come by. They aren't in very big groups, but I guess all you need is 1! Good luck.
