synper100 Report post Posted August 15, 2010 South of Sombrero Butte. Access thru Mercer ranch road. There are several two tracks before you get to the butte. Go south and get as close as you can to the canyon just south of the butte. If you have the legs, go up the canyon and get on top. Remember, glass and glass. VERY good bucks on top!!! raisedin32 Report post Posted August 15, 2010 If you go to the end of ash creek rd SE of bonita you'll get on forest rd. If you stay on that road it will take you through the heart of 32 public land. If you're looking for white tail stay around the trees if you're looking for mulls stay on that road about 8-10 miles and and you'll get on the mesas, go west toward bass tank have a good 4x4 and a lion tag.
