oz31p Report post Posted August 11, 2010 it looks good. i painted mine a while back. i like it it just takes time. but it you do it right i lasts a while. i used krylon ultra flat 3 color camo then a satin clear coat. its a savage 10 243win and i shoot a 75g vmax. this rifle has always been my experimental gunsmith rifle. i leaned out to lighten/tune a trigger, glass bed and free float. i also stiffend the front of the stock caus it was so flimsy. ernesto: if you need an extra wall to hang that elk id gladly lend a hand. Browning'sCustomMeat Report post Posted August 11, 2010 That looks spectacular.....now do the wall behind!!! hahahaha!! Kidding. How did you get the patterns? Did you tape and paint or just use a stencil? -Jeremy-
Ernesto C Report post Posted August 11, 2010 oz31p, Your rifle looks awesome!! now about my elk, where were you when I need it help getting it out of the canyon? Jeremy, Yes I did both, taping smal branches of a pigmy palm and a stencil that my daughter made me to camo my rifle Is not that hard, you can make several small figures and play with them. I want you to remember that wall really good, cause it's going to look different, is not finished yet Thanks all for your comments....take care.
