Brian Payne Report post Posted August 3, 2010 It would fun to have a "find the deer" game with a photo like that.

metau Report post Posted August 3, 2010 Wow, that is very cool......I need to find out how they did that and make a Coues deer game out of that! Not sure on the name of the program needed to do it, but essentially you take a whole lot of pictures with a very large camera lens(3200mm or larger). panning from left to right, then back again, overlapping each shot and each row of shots. Then you get home, upload the photos, and 'stitch' the pictures together. A fellow scoutmaster did just this for a backpacking trip we did last month in NM. If you want some really detailed info on it I could put you in touch with him. Jerry
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted August 3, 2010 I am familiar with stitching shots together to make a panorama but this is something altogether different. The resolution on this is phenomenal. You can zoom in on far away parks and see the kids on swings. That's cool! I wonder what type of camera was needed for this. Be a bummer to have the photo day be the day you decided to sunbath nude in your yard! there is a LOT of detail in that photo!
