wackycouesaddict Report post Posted August 4, 2010 i swear people these days get upset about the dumbest things there lots of places with big dear ok so out of the 1000 people that read it maybe at the most 10 people wold go.
LYONKILL33 Report post Posted August 5, 2010 Pretty sure it had nothing to do with the location of big deer! I dont know about you but i dont really care to glass next to 10 people, kinda defeats the purpose of scouting and trying to increase the odds for yourself! just my opinion! Anybody who puts the time in to learn an area and learn it well, knows it takes alot of effort. If you wanna spill the beans you might as well be doing all that work for someone else.Im all about helping people out, but there is a way to go about it,pretty sure thats all he was trying to say. bstpeter Report post Posted August 6, 2010 Well looks like my post ruffled some feathers..I wasn't looking for someones sweet spot or exact area...just general direction.. I hunt all over this state but never for Coues thanks for those who mentioned a few areas. I'll be scouting from Sept - Nov maybe I'll see some of you 6a hunters out there as well. Good luck and god bless.

wackycouesaddict Report post Posted August 7, 2010 i understand that and if they were sweet spots for those people i dont think they would share them. i have helped a guy on here and gave him lots of info on 6a south but none of my sweet spots and im sorry if i have ruined some of your guys spots by doing so. jnobleinaz Report post Posted August 7, 2010 It's funny this came up because usually it's the other way around, someone not giving info. Everyone that is a member can type in whatever they want on here unless it is inappropriate for young viewers. Posts should not ever be edited because of someones hunting area. Opinions, hot spots, your spot, is all at risk becoming a member of these forums. It is a monster created at our dispense and can make you angry. I learned last year how much of a d-bag guys could be. One click of the mouse and a few punches on the keyboard is all it takes. I also love that a ton of guys on these forums are just like C. Adams behind the keyboard. It's all just like that Brad Paisley song, check out my space. lol enjoy

Dont apalogize about helping someone out who hasnt been drawn in 10 years. I think some here were upset at me because I did give some specific directions. If hackberry basin was such a sweet spot or honey hole, you would think I would have ran into another hunter there during the hunt. In which I didnt during the 7 day hunt. Oh I did run into one, the day prior to opener. Some times I wonder what the purpose of some forums are for. Just bragging boards, or to bloat how good you are? If you cant help someone out on here in the open, and only in private (pm) whats the point. Im just saying. Good luck on your 6A hunt. Im trying to save you some time, money, gas, and get you started in one spot were you can glass up some deer the day you get there, instead of scouting for days and hours without seeing anything. bstpeter Report post Posted August 10, 2010 Thanks, buglethemin I'm excited about November I hope most of the people in the forum actually got drawn. I'm also bringing a 16yr kid it will be a hunt to remember I'm sure. November will be a good month for me 5th-11th here and 12th-21st in the North West Mtns of Maine. Both Whitetail but very different climates.
ehunt Report post Posted August 10, 2010 I dont think anyone that has posted on this topic has any problem with helping a fellow hunter. All they are asking is that you do so through a PM or an email...I agree 100%
Younghunter Report post Posted August 15, 2011 If you are trying to help someone with their hunt but at the same time tell everyone else, you are defeating your own purpose by actually making it harder for the individual by giving him competition in the field. GreatWhiteBuffalo Report post Posted August 16, 2011 Try this spot, there have been many bucks taken around here. The reality is that you still have to find them no matter how detailed a lead is!
123456 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 Time to grow up. If he wants to tell someone about a spot thru the forum and not thru a PM, that is his choice. Guy helps out a fellow Cw'er and now he is a d##k. Got to be kidding me. Stay up in payson if this offends you. There are many more areas than hackberry. Try out west clear creek both north side and south. I prefer south. Lots of whitetail there too. Oh wait, I just ruined clear creek. DOH!!!! Good Luck on your hunt and bag a giant in Hackberry..
