DesertBull Report post Posted September 18, 2005 After 3 days of hard hunting and climbing, and not seeing any bucks, I shot this small meat buck so I could get on with my bear hunt. It's not a biggin', but he tastes great and it's was a really fun and educational hunt. Some scenery from the top of the mountains. 2-3 hour climb from the base to the top. coueshunter Report post Posted September 20, 2005 Great pictures and what a great sounding hunt. The weather looked like it cooperated with you, it can get really nasty. When I went a few years back to Kodiak Island, it was late November and it was really rough weather.
