I have to say I love my darton. They don't seem to be that well known but my darton will fling an arrow just as quietly and as quickly as any brand name bow and they cost considerably less than most other bows.

For me right now it is all Hoyt... it was Mathews but they have slipped and Hoyt has been gaining... the tides have turned. In the future... someone else may step it up... but I have not enjoyed shooting as much as I do now... for about 10 years. Thanks to my Maxxis 35!

I assumed the thread was talking about compounds, the nicest bow I've shot though is a Zona Custom Longbow. No smoother, more quiet or more beautiful bow on the market!! Hoyts are a close second though, pse's are near the bottom.

I i like to keep things local when ever possible. I'm currenly shooting a pse with inverter broadheads.

Mathews Switchback XT is what I shoot. There is a lot of good bows on the market these days. There all good.

Everybody has sound advice. the best advice I can offer you is to handle and shoot as many as you can. Find one that is comfortable in you hand (not to heavy, shoots well,smooth drawing, and fits your wallet.) Once you find the bow that fits all of these, you have found the best bow for you!

Its been Bowtech for the past few years but I recently shot the Bear Carnage. If the Carnage adjusted to 31.5 inches I'd own it already.
