Check out these pics my Dad sent to me of this alligator gar that ws taken by a bowfisherman the other day on Sam Rayburn Lake in East TX. It was over 8ft long and weighed 244lbs. That is one big gar!!

Bigger than I've ever seen. I recall taking a hatchet to split the back open to get the meat off the back of 3 footers. THis one should have some nasty teeth.
