Dan H Report post Posted September 15, 2005 Quote; Does the first hint of the cool fall air find you longing to be in the mountains of the southeastern Arizona. I think everyone who goes outside in the early morning lately can feel it. Sure makes it tough having to go to work instead every day don't it. My wife tells me every year your not even listening to me me I can tell your "Changing Gears". From fishing mode to hunting mode. Very well said what I quoted Amanda. Thanks, Dan

stanley Report post Posted September 15, 2005 I definitely get the 'feeling' this time of year when the air drys out a bit. The dove opener is nice, but it's not until we start feeling these nice 60 degree mornings that I really start to get antsy. I'll be up in 6A this weekend chasing cow elk with my bow. Should be nice and cool up there.... Heading-up today, and I can't wait! S.
Red Rabbit Report post Posted September 15, 2005 Good luck Stan, I was in 6B last evening and three bulls were bugling around my friend's camp that we had just set up. It's 61* in the house this morning; guess that explains my mood to be hunting. RR

CouesWhitetail Report post Posted September 15, 2005 Glad you like the quote! The air sure is getting that feeling to it. Last night there was a freeze warning issued for the Kaibab and much of the area north of the rim. Fall is my favorite time of year! Amanda
