Mearns are getting wet...

Recommended Posts

Received 1.5 inches at the house today here in Kachina. Another person has said that the Nogales area has received good rain lately. Sure glad Rica drew a mearns tag this year.

I live here in Mesa, but I can tell you its not the town I have my weather notifications set up for. And I can tell you I love the little black rain clouds solid through my 5-day forecast. Puts a whitetail hunting smile to my face!

:D :D

Here's another fine day in Mearns / Coues Country. Keep your fingers crossed they keep on coming.

"Come November don't forget to take out the trash - use your vote!!"

Sad but true :(

Larry,

I've heard it's been raining nearly everyday down south for the past 2 weeks! Can't wait for Thanksgiving to get the dog's out. Also starting to get ready for dog camp, repacked the bearings on the trailer, gave the quad a tune up, change the oil on the gererator, and putting new tires on the truck this week. Have you been up the hill yet? I was up Sunday changing out batteries and refreshing my salt. It's really green up there. Give me a call, I have a suggestion for you for your hunt.

Down here in Yuma I have been seeing some unbelievable hatches of Gambel Quail. I have been seeing tons of couvies that have 50 or more birds. I have not seen this many birds this early in my 31 years of living down here in the desert. Come on begining of October.

Simon - thanks for the suggestion. Looking forward to dog camp. Larry

Nice to have the monsoon back up and running. The last couple of days was nice and today's rain is great!! Makes it tough on the archery hunters but I'm still loving the rain.
