oz31p Report post Posted July 19, 2010 my leupold mark 4 LR/T 4.5-14x40 arrived friday and i had a chance to sight it in this morning. the knobs are so easy to ajust. it sighted in pretty easy. i had a few very tight groups with the forend and the butt supported. but off a harris bipod a bout an inch was the best i could do. i shot 32 300wm in about 45min and it was hot this morning. now i need to practice dialing different yardages. i did bust a basket ball sized rock at 505y on the first shot with 8moa. the guy i was shooting with was quite the non beliver in the accurace of dialing yardages. i was on a tripod with the gun claw, he picked out the rock and ranged it. i adjusted 8moa and squeezed the trigger. he was shocked that is was a direct hit as he proclamed it to be a fluke. i was too hot and tired to prove other wise, but i will all in due time. 4-shot group. any thing tighter than that is just showing off.
