Heat Report post Posted July 18, 2010 Got super lucky and drew a desert bighorn sheep tag this year! I am so very fortunate. Can't wait for December to come around. Even saw a few sheep this morning on a little drive. One more little amazing fact is one of my best friends and longtime hunting buddys drew one of the other tags in the unit on a separate application! Oh man am I fired up! Heat Report post Posted July 18, 2010 We drew unit 43B. We both live in Yuma. I used to work at YPG and he still does, so we both are pretty familiar with the unit. I was fortunate enough to be able to help a couple of guys who drew in that unit a few years ago. I was also pretty involved with the Hunting Program at YPG when I worked there so heard lots of stories, talked to a lot of the sheep hunters in the unit, and saw a few sheep here and there. GameHauler Report post Posted July 18, 2010 I had 43A in 2003. Your lucky to live so close. I spent a fortune scouting every weekend but worth every penny. Nothing like a Sheep hunt and good luck.
