gotcoues Report post Posted September 26, 2005 Hey everybody I am a new member and I have a question. I hunted hard this season for a monster. I stalked him twice and the hunting gods did not allow me to close the deal. I believe I know where he will water in Dec.. Should I perhaps increase my odds with a salt set-up at the water hole. Guest Ernesto C Report post Posted September 26, 2005 gotcoues,that buck in December will be were the does are,it will be really hard to tell if he will come to the same water hole becuase water is not that critical in December as it is in the hotter months;he may come to the same water hole but not as often as before.If you set up your salt I dont know if the buck(s) will hit it that quick....but you have nothing to loose,go for it and I'm sure is not the only buck,more will be around.Thanks and God bless.
