Bucks_N_Yotes Report post Posted July 16, 2010 Here is a question for you guys! 4 guys put in together, all out of state, so they pay $232.75 each, which when added up is $931.00 The photo copy of the check says in both boxes the right amount, check didn't bounce, so how is it that the application is rejected because of INSUFFICIENT PAYMENT ENCLOSED. They cashed the check, all the amounts add up, what did they do wrong, or was it G&F?
bonecollector Report post Posted July 16, 2010 Did the check clear the bank? If not thats the problem if not thats a G&F problem.
Redman Report post Posted July 16, 2010 Not sure, but that sucks....good thing there are left overs in pretty darn good units....
JMP Report post Posted July 16, 2010 didn't check the math, was the license fee included?
.270 Report post Posted July 16, 2010 i know of 2 cases where they said the same thing, one time residents and one time nonresidents, both times the guys proved they were right and the azgfd had to issue em tags for their first choice, over and above the original quota for the hunt. if they think they're right, don't drop it. i think this happens quite a bit. Bucks_N_Yotes Report post Posted July 16, 2010 All fees were added, nothing missing! So who do these guys contact to ask about this problem? And every thing cleared!
Outdoor Writer Report post Posted July 16, 2010 Did any of them apply for a license on the app and perhaps not enclose the payment for that?
AZkiller Report post Posted July 16, 2010 Did they include the cost of their hunting licences? Being that they are from out of state I wouldn't think they would already have one.
Bucks_N_Yotes Report post Posted July 16, 2010 They bought their license online from GF website, so that amount did not have to be included, just the application amount. This is what I found out so far after a few phone calls to GF. They wrote someone elses name on top of the check, non of which was listed on the application. $931 went to a different group, whose application was only like 452.50 (they are getting a tag and a refund!) and these guys got the other groups check applied to their application! Its a mess and I am told that its our falt they got messed up, and their computers are right, sorry! Well I guess I have more calls to make!
Outdoor Writer Report post Posted July 16, 2010 If that is the case, it seems like it will be easy to work it out. G&F will have a copy of the app and whoever wrote the check should have copies of it - both front and back -- to match to the app. If the money was misapplied by G&F and, they must issue the permits for first choice. mnorth Report post Posted July 16, 2010 It looks like they did not include the hunting license fee. If they did have their AZ hunting license, it may have been a G&F mistake. If that's not included they will reject it and still cash the check for the $5 dollar application fee.
