slopoke36 Report post Posted July 8, 2010 Can someone please confirm for me the proper way to nock an arrow in a Whisker biscuit? I have heard that the vein fletching needs to be in the 12 0'clock position as you hold the bow vertical (or shooting position) and I have heard that the vein needs to be in the 9 o'clock position as you hold the bow vertical (or shooting position) and the package says just make sure none of the fletching pass through the black portion of the whisker biscuit. At this point in my bowhunting career I don’t feel comfortable about using a drop away rest, just yet. . Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

badred6 Report post Posted July 8, 2010 I was told not to place a vain fletching in the black area. So I have one in the 12 o'clock position, and the others are above the black. The reason be is that after shooting for sometime, the whiskers become, how dow do I say it....less strong, (cant find the word to describe right now). After shooting though the black your arrow might sink into the whiskers, and the black whiskers are there to hold your arrow in place. Just what I was told when I bought mine.
