Moon over Cathedral

Recommended Posts

The almost full moon was rising last night as the sun was setting. Hoped to get a reflection shot of Cathedral Rock and the moon. In August, the moon will crest over Cathedral more over the center.

This time in editing, the sharpening was done after resizing, as opposed to before. See if it makes fora sharper image with the web compression.

Thanks for looking and commenting. In a few weeks, the monsoon clouds will hopefully grace the skies in the area. Hope to get some good ones then. Looks like these have some processing squigglies in the sky next to the rocks.

Peg and I are enjoying your pictures of Cathedral Rock as I type this. Can't wait to see more. Great job Doug. :)

Went back this Friday evening to capture the moon closer to dusk from a greater distance away. I wanted to get the moon through the blue and pink horizon that occurs at dusk. I had to touch up a dark ring around the moon alot.
