I have a new PSE bow madness that I want to get the strings replaced with custom strings before I get it set up. Can anybody recommend a dealer here in the state that I can use with a quick turn around, and quality workmanship? David

Dave Stepp at Mile High Archery up here in Prescott Valley makes great strings. Not sure if you ever get up here though. He does all my work and my dad even brings his stuff up here from the valley for him to do as well.

Jeremy at Chasin' a Dream Outfitters in Payson... he built a custom set for my new Maxxis and they are Wicked!!! ;) I have never shot strings before where my Peep didn't twist... even the "Name brand" strings I have shot twist....including Winner's choice.

2 thumbs up For jeremy's strings, which I now call CADO strings..... and it is on the way to your cabin! ;)

Winner's Choice are by far the best string's I have ever shot never had any peep rotation or stretch. Pricier then most but well worth it imo.

I would say Vapor Trail if you order on monday you should have your strings by friday, they are resonably priced and are an awesome set of strings no twist or turns on any of my strings and Vapor Trail strings are all I shoot!!!

Oh... forgot to mention that if you get in touch with Jeremy and set it up..... you can have your bow back and shooting great within a day (or two) in most cases..... he could do it in 3-4 hours if have the time..... there is more to it than just buying a good string. ;)

I have heard Jed Larson does a great set of strings in ShowLow but never could get ahold of him when I was getting set up. Ended up ordering a set from Bucknasty on archerytalk.com, every bit as good as the Winners Choice I have had in the past at about half the price. Guess all of those pros on the payroll raises your overhead something fierce.

IMO you have the best strings and cables that come with a bow madness which are america's best. I have shot winners choice, vapor trail, zebra barracudda and now i have americas best put on all my mathews as soon as i buy one. Americas best stands behind there strings and i have had no twisting of my peep or stretching of the string..i also never order a 2 color string as i think they can stretch more than a single color just my .02..>>-------------------> (.)

Ok guys I'm confused, which doesn't take much, but why do you need to have a custom bow string made when these bows cost over a thousand dollars? Is it you just want to look good or are the strings no worthy? Just wondering! :)

I was told from a rep that a two color string is two seperate made strings that are twisted together to make one, and a single color is made at one time. The guy told me that when you take two strings and twist as one that theres more chance for stretching because one may move from the other. Made since to me when he said it but i dont make strings.
