Ernesto C Report post Posted June 3, 2010 I'm really pist off Some body when in to my back yard and stole some of my landscaping equipment which by the way was new! I took pictures of their foot prints, one guys is light weigth while the other is in the 200 lbs range. I followed their foot prints up to 350 yards from the house until they ran out of desert and make it to the street (pavement). Becuase of the evidence I collected it tells me that this guys new what I had. They came throug the desert past several houses but went directly to mine and stopped right at the fence, peek over to make sure it was safe to go in, walked around the block fence opened the gate when directly to the back of the pick up truck and took some of the equipment and walked away. Im sure they are coming back for more since my equipment is visible during the day and I own some expensive stuff. I'm going to "bait" this guys place some bubby(sp) trap and waith for them to come in. The 357 Mag. 38 Special and 3" Mag. shells will be ready to "BARK" at my order!! Ernesto C Report post Posted June 4, 2010 Unfreaking UNBELIEVABLE!! Aaarrrrrrggggggg I'm super PIST OFF wiht my SELF The ..................... thieves striked AGAIN LAST NIGHT!! Can you believe that???????!! The longest I could stay awake was till midnight I was ready waiting for them, I knew they will come back. Then I woke up again arond 3:30 am, look throug the window and scanned the whole back yard everything looked ok went back to sleep and the alarm woke me up at 4:45 to go to work looked throug the window and did not see anything or any body. When I came back from work my wife told me that they had returned again, she showed me their footprints and to my disbelief (sp) she was right. I DESERVE A SLAP IN THE FACE!! They walked around my work truck and walked to one corner of the lot where the night before had some tool boxes, chain saws, telescopic saws etc but they did not found anything cause I had moved everything to the garage. But I know they were looking for that stuff. The night before only one guy came in into my back yard but last night TWO GUYS CAME IN!! Since I had locked the gate this time you can see where they came around the fence and jumped in! ^&&%$# I'm really mad with my self! Called the police and all I get was a "oh well good luck and let us know if you catch them" What the........ I guess I was right when I called hunting season.....you can't always get them but oh man....hopefully I get my chance again. I know the bait worked out I just sucked for not getting them. Sounds like they want you to do their job. you may as well do the job thoroughly including the job for the Judge, jury, and punisher. How do you keep a thief from hanging 'roud your front porch??? Ernesto C Report post Posted June 5, 2010 My theory was that they came in at night. For two nights in a row did not had much sleep cause I was waiting for them. But after talking yesterday to one of the neighbors my theory was a waste, why? He said on Wednesday morning on or around 9:30 a.m. he saw a guy walking by my house with a weed eater/trimmer on his hands! He thought it was ackward cuase behind my house is desert and how some one will use a trimmer with no safety glasse, no hat and wearing shorts in the desert? Also another neighbor told me that he saw a guy with a trimmer walking away from my house about 10 a.m. but he thought that was one of my workers since I own a landscaping company. The description they gave me about this guy matches so it is the same person. I think I know who they are talking about. ( or at least the description matches this individual.) This guy leaves not far from my house and he's being caught before. I feel that I'm so close but at the same time so far away cause how can I prove it was him? I work during the day and so is my wife and kids at school so no one home. I'm going to keep working on this case but only God knows what will happen and if I will ever get this guy. I wasn't going to make a big deal about this but since they came in two days in a row that's what it bothers me. What's next? my home? my family?
