Red Rabbit Report post Posted May 28, 2010 With the full moon rising right before the sunset, I headed for a few nights to a canyon whose sand and claystone features included red-capped spires and ridges. Quite an interesting place to walk around with camera in hand. Child of the Moon. The formation is often called Mother and Child. Fallen Guardian Eventually their support erodes away and heads topple. The Tower at Sunset A neat line of boulders line towards this tower that is a few hundred feet tall.
