I was there about 2 p.m. and the place was about deserted. I only hung around about 15 mins. because that's about all it took to see everything. This was the first time I attended one of the shows. Don't know why, but I expected to see a lot more mounts on display.

That said, congrats on your awards. I liked both the bear and the lion. Many of the others had only the ribbons but no indication who did the work. So if you had more, congrats on them too.

Ok, Here's the run down.....

We entered 4 mounts in the Open/Professional Division. Each mount is scored against a perfect score of 100. They are not scored compared to the other entries.

1st Place Lifesize - Black Bear

1st Place Lifesize - Mtn Lion

1st Place Gamehead - Coues Pedestal

2nd Place Bird - Snow Goose

Also....

Best of Category Lifesize - Black Bear

Winner of the Habitat Challenge - Bear Mount

Best New Competitor

We are glad that our hard work paid off and that with the advice from the Judges we will be putting out even higher quality to all of our clients.

Awesome! Congratulations on doing so well at the show! As a reminder to everyone, Dale entered the work he did for his clients, not just stuff he did special for the competition. To me that makes it even more special.

And glad you enjoyed it and got some useful advice from the judge that can help improve your work even more.

Just want to post a Huge Thanks, to Dale and Heather, for a producing to Fantastic mounts for the ladies in this thread from last year. http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...c=15977&hl=

Both are very happy with their bucks and their mounts! After seeing Ambers buck on the wall next to Colton's 112"er, I can tell you that your coues deer are as good as they get, Dale!! The detail is uncanny! ;) Amber (and Colton) are so happy with the work!! Katie and Stuffy are also very pleased with the Carp deer! :P It looks great on the "Mulie wall" in thier house.

WHT is putting some hard to beat quality on the walls of people I know!!!

Thanks Dale!! ;)

PS: Dale... I mean Heather, could you please post pics of these two mounts they are very worth sharing! ;)
