At least im trying dont say unlike other people. Im sorrry i am not a english, writing wiz, actually i compltely suck a** at it. But at least im trying? Im not just sitting here posting stuff and not taking action but watever thats your choice i guess.

 

You would think people would not look for how bad something is when some body is trying to do something but again wat ever people like that are the ones that make the world go around..

Bone collector hope your not like this to your childern its a real dream killer for most . Im just trying to get something going to help our fading country that gives you th rights to say wat you say and do wat you do!!!!!!!!!!!

I applaud your efforts not many 17 yr old kids are like you. I just dont think bashing people on here is the right thing to do. I do applaud your efforts though.

Am i really bashing people or just trying to motivate people? it got you posting didnt it? This is where we loose people because they all take offence to everything that is said just like the people protesting the new law.

And what exactly is it that we should do? Many of us have voted for many years, been active in organizations and put out information face to face. What is it you would have us do? Go beat people up, take after them with guns, that is totally ridiculous and can only harm the issue - whatever it may be- rather than help it. And since you brought it up maybe you can tell us what you have done to further efforts on whatever you are talking about.

Keep doing what your doing and don't worry about what other people think.

 

I will offer some advice and PLEASE don't take this the wrong way, but Google has a tool bar that has spell checker that checks your spelling for you as you type (when something is typed that is not spelled correctly it will underline it red. Right click on the red underlined word and it will offer a few words spelled correctly. Click on the word that was intended and it will change it for you). This will only help you (not just posting on the internet but improve your writing skills, which are so valuable in life).

 

Also, keep in mind 90% of individuals on CWT have already been 17......some are a bit more grumpy than a 17 year old!

Tyler. For what it's worth I appreciate a young man who loves his country, and what it stands for. Many people forget what it took to have the freedoms we have. We can't have freedom for free. And it takes more effort and work and sacrifice to keep those freedoms. While the majority of kids today are more concerned with mtv, myspace and facebook. You are here expressing concern for country; your country - our country. The best country in the world! While many people speak badly about our country, most would give up theirs to live here. Just remember that when posting things in a public venue, we expose our thoughts and opinions to criticism. It doesn't make anyone bad or good. It just is. You hold high ground as far as I'm concerned. Relax. One question though. What do you mean by "The UNWANTED 17 Year Old Proud American?" Your country wants you. Whitetail bucks may not but we do.

I started this post out of the fact of lack of support for the American pride rally I'm trying to get started. Having pride in America is the first step. Because with that will help stop poeple from bein afraid of stepping on toes over issues that infrindge on americans rights and saftey. Azslim this is wat im asking you guys do jion the efforts for this rally and spread the word of it. Redman thank you for the help i will start using it i never heard of it before hand. Bandido i understand many people would give there lives for this country and me for is thats why i have signed my papers to join the nantional gaurd when i graduate so i can in turn have a job with bp as well. I also know that that posting in public public forums that its open for criticism. The point i was getting at was the fact that they looked to critise and not take in the more inporten idea of the post. The unwanted part of my sig goes to the fact that it has come to me that people want a quit unquestioning citizen.

Okay, now I know what you are talking about. Good for you for signing up for the NG and taking steps for joining the BP. You are to be commended for your initiative. As I stated earlier, it is not only the message but how it is presented that will get results - positive or negative.

It is some times hard to get a message across and to have and understanding or agreement on what we are saying throug the internet. We can't see the emotions and body language of the other member.

There is a lots of times when we post something with one meaning but people gets a differente one, sometimes totally opposed to what we said or mean.

 

My suggestions here has always being that, when replying to a post; always reply or judge the "post" not the individual making the post. We all are valuable members here and have some good things to contribute to this site and their members, but when we start making it personal specially on this type of topics things can get off hand easily.

 

We have seeing some iniciative and courage here but .....maybe the idea is good but the aproach was not the most effective??

 

Every day I learn something new and even from this post I once again notice that if we canalize our effort and ideas we can acomplish better results? Also, sometimes we need to stop...take a deep breath and...smell the flowers? (if you know what I mean)

Your Patriotism is admirable, especially for a young man.

 

Its just hard to figure out what you are trying to say in your posts and it makes my brain hurt trying to figure it out
