az4life Report post Posted August 24, 2005 With all of you archery hunters heading out soon, I would like to offer a trade. I will pray for your safety and success, if you would send me and my family some prayer support in return. I am not usually a guy to wear his heart on his sleeve, but we have had a terrible week so far and it is taking it's toll on us. Our wonderful, beloved 5 year old Jack Russell terrier was severly sick and had to be put down today. "Sport" will be greatly missed! Still in shock over it and my wife is purely devastaed. He was her "baby", such a lap dog and attention hound and smart as a whip! He was the best pet we ever had, or probably ever will. My mother is back in the hospital too, after kidney failure. Still fighting an MSRA (STAPH) infection from a heart bypass last year and she has a littany of other health complications to contend with plus now, kidney failure. I am not anywhere near a "biblical Job", however I know support from family and extended family will help us through these trials. Take me up on the "trade" offer and it will help us all. Thanks for lending an ear.

Chef Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Not an archer, but will pray for you and your family nontheless. Life gives us some unexplainable twists sometimes. Just stay strong. I know how your dogs passing must be to your family. Tell your wife, that when she dies, Sport is the one that will greet her, tail wagging, and lead her to Heaven. That is what my Great Grandmother always believed. That our pets are the ones that will show us the way. Hope your Mother does well and her stay at the Hospital is short. Hang in there friend, and stay strong for those around you. Regards, Chef

Dodger2 Report post Posted August 25, 2005 I would gladly put your family in our prayers. I too would also like to ask for your support. My Dad, hunting partner and mentor, had a heart attack this morning at work. He is currently in ICU and is recovering but it has been a long a taxing day. He and I work together at the same school so I have been with him the whole day. Thank you!
BASS Report post Posted August 25, 2005 I'm so sorry to hear about your week! We lost our dog last year after spring break. Poor thing, I know you might think it's too soon, but once everything cools down you may think about picking up a new pup. It helped us out a ton! It's hard to be sad when there is a puppy running around. I'm also sorry to hear about your mom. It will be my pleasure to send my best wishes for you. az4life Report post Posted August 25, 2005 Thanks to everyone for your prayer and support. I am holding up my end as well! We went to see my mother tonight and she is actually doing pretty well. The transfusion helped her Blood count and they took her off lasiks. Her kidneys are rebounding so the Dr says there should not be need for dialysis. Another day observation and she should be home! She still has other health problems to deal with but one at a time... We got home and my wife broke down in tears and disbelief our "Sport" was not here. We all miss him terribly. I have had employees in the past who have lost pets, and I could not believe their utter dispair over a "pet". I too have lost pets but none so special as this one. Now I feel the pain of the loss of such a great one. Such a short life and it took us by surprise. With pet ownership comes responsibility and handling death is one of the tough parts. It is really hard to think about putting yourself out there with another one knowing it will happen again. Dodger2 Special thoughts and prayers to you for your father. Been through that last year with my mother and several times with my father in law. Let me know if you need to chat about it. Keith, I think I saw your aunt on TV, if she lives in surprise! Again, Thanks for your support.
Guest Ernesto C Report post Posted August 25, 2005 Marlon,Dodger 2,Keith and all those who have a petition to the Lord: This is not Ernesto C. telling you this,it is The Word it is in the Bible. Please read John 16 versus 24 and then read Luke chapter 11 versus 2 to 4. Then please read Mark Chapter 11 versus 22,then jump to versus 24,25 and 26;this is very important to recieve the blessing, request or petition from the Lord. Read Luke chapter 11 versus 9 and 10;then read John Chapter 14 versus 13 y 14. Remember you (we) must do it with faith you (we) must believe it with our heart and requested on His Name becuase his name is above all names, what does this means?it means that it does not matter what name that illnes, infection or problem has (fever, cancer, heart problems etc etc) The Name of the Lord is greater than anything else and there is power on His Name Amen. Read Psalm 86 1 to 8 and Psalm 103 1 to 5. We the members of this site are with you,you are not alone,it is our responsability and to prove it,read Romans chapter 12 versus 15. Thank You and God bless.
