TAM Report post Posted May 11, 2010 I recently put a new sight on my bow so I headed to the range tonight to get it dialed in and to get a little practice in for my up coming bull elk hunt. I've been shooting a bow for about 21 years now and at 50 yards I finally Robin Hooded an arrow!!! I've busted lots of nocks in my time but never split an arrow... it's about freaking time! Maybe it was the hat???

lucky2hunt Report post Posted May 11, 2010 Nice shot! The only sound I hear when I do that is "Cha-Ching" more money spent on arrows! $$$
cramerhunts Report post Posted May 11, 2010 Sweet shot Tim! It's a pretty cool feeling isn't it....until you think about the price of the arrow! Looks like you're getting dialed in for that monster bull!

COOSEFAN Report post Posted May 11, 2010 No doubt it was the hat, but I'm sure your ability to shoot a group like that at 50 yards helped a little too
