Great find for sure. Sheds are way cool, but a complete skull intact- Outstanding!

i would guess hes talking about the blue range in unit 27 and if so its one of the few untouched areas in the state. its hard to describe exept by the word beautiful. its only problem is it has a population of Mexican gray wolfs.

thats a good looking buck. was there any other reminisce of the deer around?

and did you get a tom?

The blue is in unit 27 and beautiful is an apt description. I found the whole deer, body on one side of a meadow and the head on the other side. Didn't get a turkey but this was a nice consolation.

"roadless- primitive- rattlesnake infested- wash board grand canyon lookin- evil killer lion, bear and wolf ridden"

much better description. :D

the reason i was asking if you found the whole body is i was wondering if a lion or a wolf got him.

May have been wounded during a hunt or something along those lines. Wasn't any sign of what I'd expect from a lion kill, and I've found quite a few. Never seen what a wolf kill site looks like so that's a possibility.
