huntermncb Report post Posted May 5, 2010 Finally got the encore finished! The barrel is made by mgm out of Utah off a Shilen blank in 264 win mag. The barrel is 1 inch bull 28 inches long and throated for long VLD type bullets. I got to go out and do a little shooting this past weekend the first loads are promising . huntermncb Report post Posted May 5, 2010 i have looked at alot of other barrel companies. I chose mgm because of price and time to have the barrel made and all the good reviews i have heard about them. i paid 395 for the barrel and it being threaded with a thread cap. almost everyone else is going to be 465+ for just the barrel.
