bowhunter4life Report post Posted May 3, 2010 We had a wonerful time of hunting with 3 generations being able to hunt together and all 3 being able to harvest some old long beards. I was able to harvest a young tom with my bow after about 30-40 gobbles and finnaly given in to an old Marvin Robbins mouth call. My dad heard a faint gobble, started working again a Marvin Robbins slate call and 3 long beards came a running. My son jared sat and watch dad use the same slate call and a jake came a running and was in love at first site with the hen decoy. Nothing like hunting in May in Az and watching the snow fall. It was beautiful watching snow coming from the sky and hearing gobbling through out the valley.
