I was out this last weekend and saw a few. Saw one nursing. They're still real little and not yet as active as the adult deer so I imagine that we will be seeing a lot more as they get a little older. Didn't see any that I could confirm as twins but I'm sure there were some. It's real green, with a lot of tall grass and brush in S. AZ right now and it's also wet enough that the deer aren't having to travel very far for water. I would think that all of those things would help the fawns survive their first few months.

I saw one fawn with momma up in 6A a couple weeks ago. She didn't seemed to worried about us, and the baby was jumping around playing with her. Then they just walked away, and dropped off into a small canyon.

The two fawns I saw a couple weeks ago were as fat as pigs. It seemed like they had a hard time gettin those legs goin. Plus I have been seeing two calves with cows this year. David

I have not been out much, just driving around 34A one weekend. Saw a doe and fawn from the road. They slowly moved up a ridge out of sight. This was the first fawn I have ever seen. It was pretty cool, even my 2 year old daughter was excited.

The fawn crop is great this year down here in the southland. Last few times we have been out we have seen multiple fawns with one mother. Lots of twins and maybe even one set of triplets? From my observations the fawn crop is the best it has been in a while.....
