The best way to stop it is to go after those businesses that hire them and make it WAY more expensive if they get caught. IF no one is hiring illegals, the amount crossing over will dwindle.

 

Use the military / border patrol / local and state police to go after the druggies.

 

What really gets me is, we will vote for more taxes to build a billionaires a place for their teams to play games, but if there were a tax proposal for building a 40ft high, patrolled and guarded wall from San Diego to Texas no one would vote for it.

I understand the need for a temporary worker program for jobs that American's might not want to do.

 

I run a SMALL drywall subcontracting outfit. I DON'T hire illegals and it is mandatory to be able to speak English. I pay a competitive wage so I can find good guys.

 

All these excuses being made are just BS! Secure the border, YES on 1070, fine people who hire and rent to illegals, must show valid ID to vote PERIOD. TAKE ACTION NOW!!!!!!

Calls for boycotting Arizona and its businesses because of its new anti-illegal-immigration law have begun to spread, even to the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

 

Here is a rundown of the three issues, along with Diamondbacks CEO Derrick Hall's response:

 

1. Citing contributions made by Diamondbacks owner Ken Kendrick to Republican candidates, one seemingly grassroots organization is calling for a boycott of the Diamondbacks.

 

Hall calls it "misdirected," saying that Kendrick is against the new immigration law and has made numerous sizeable donations over the years to Hispanic causes.

 

"We have a lot of support from Hispanic leaders who work closely with us and know what we do for the community," Hall said. "We employ so many Latinos. We have so many Hispanic fans, players. I just think it's a misdirected target."

 

He said the organization wants the Diamondbacks to come out against the law, but the club won't do that because, Hall says, it never takes stands.

 

"The organization doesn't take political positions," Hall said. "We represent all of our employees, all of our fans, all of our owners, who all have different political affiliations. It would be unfair and unjust for us to even take a position because it can't be reflective upon everybody's views.

 

"So as an organization, not an individual, we just don't do that. Ken has and I also have huge concerns with the possibility of our fans, players or employees being questioned at any time for documentation. Anything that would disrupt their work and/or the fan experience is a concern."

 

2. Knowing the history of the MLK holiday controversy and how it cost Arizona a chance at conventions and a Super Bowl, people are wondering if this might cause MLB to take away the 2011 All-Star Game.

 

Hall said he hasn't heard anything to make him think that might happen, but he has some concerns about the possibility.

 

"I'm concerned because we worked so hard to get it," he said. "We'd hate to see it go away if too much pressure is put on MLB, but the planning is well into motion and I think it would be difficult to back off at this point for 2011. My hope is that it won't impact it in any way."

 

3. People are using the Diamondbacks as a way to voice their opposition to Arizona's law, organizing protests around their road games.

Im racist? Im white. I have hired over 300 - 400 white guys and they have all quit except for one. I started a company 15 years ago and every landscaper in the valley had illegal immigrants working for them and still do. The HOA's pay us illegal immigrant wages not lazy white boy wages. Why would a white guy want to come work for $7.00 hour in the intense heat trimming trees or mowing grass all day when he can make $10.00/ hour at Wal Mart being a door greater. These illegals arent busting their butts for nothing, they are improving their life and feeding there families in Mexico where they only make $.50 cent / hour. How many of you guys on here no the process of obtaining a Visa to work in America. Probably not much. The process usually takes 5 -10 years. Do you think they are going to wait, heck no. I understand there are some worthless illegals out there and allot of them that want to use our hard earned taxed dollars and ride on the governments tit and I agree they need to do something about it.

 

My question why punish the business owner the one that creates jobs and revenue for the state when the Government is the one that created this problem. When I started my company it wasnt a big deal to hire illegals, now it is. How do I tell my associations hey your $1,000.00 month landscape contract is now gonna be $5,000.00 month because I had to hire white guys, oh and by the way they arent very hard workers and they complain allot. I would loose the account. And they would hire the next company that has illegals.

I make a great living and so do most landscapers. If I was running a restaurant it wouldnt be a problem but its landscaping. I think you all might be suprised on how many restaurants (Outback steakhouse, Olive Garden, McDonalds etc that hire illegals). Your food you ate today was probably prepared by illegal at some point.

Go to your HOA and say you want to pay your landscapers an additional $20.00 month so I can pay them your decent wage you suggest. Are u dumb. My answer: How are college kids suppose to work from 5am 3 pm everyday in landscaping. Yes I am profiting from Illegals, but not bragging about it, I am saying give me some legit white guys that want to do the work. Kids dont fit in because they cant work like illegals.

Two statements taken out of your post that dont really make sence when looked at together. How can they be busting their butts here and paying for food back home while making revenue for the state? They dont pay taxes, right? No state income there. If they dont spent nearly all their paycheck here and send just a little bit back to mexico the state is loosing money, its going out of the country.
