DesertBull Report post Posted August 17, 2005 Faded Wranglers and a white t-shirt. Is there anything more American than that?
ScottAdams Report post Posted August 18, 2005 I like where we're going here. Keep it up!! Scott
Shiras Report post Posted August 18, 2005 The simpler, the better. Too much clutter is not easily recognized to the casual observer. One very easy to recognize image, sharply contrasted to the t-shirt, hat, mug or whatever it is on, is probably the best bet for CWT.com maximum exposure, imo. Great idea -Shiras
KGAINES Report post Posted August 18, 2005 A camo shirt with black lettering, it would be hard to read and yet would probably be a good selling item to hunters. If you go with the Lark idea I would go with black lettering, black picture, and black shirt, and I would shade everything else with black.
KGAINES Report post Posted August 20, 2005 With all these plastic wristbands that everyone is wearing, a green or camo one that said coueswhitail.com might work, I do not know the cost of these things to make , but they are everywhere and are inexpensive to buy. just a thought
COUESAZ Report post Posted August 21, 2005 It would have been nice to see all the coues shirts at the grand opening of the sportsmans warehouse today.
BASS Report post Posted August 21, 2005 It would have been nice to see all the coues shirts at the grand opening of the sportsmans warehouse today. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would have been neat! How was it? I had so much fun walking around Thursday, I had to go back Friday. Again I saw a bunch of "wants" but no "needs"
muskrat Report post Posted August 21, 2005 I was there, along with my daughter. A ton of wants, here also - luckily, I got out spending only 80 bucks - which was my budget.
25-06 Report post Posted May 24, 2006 Before we jump into cafepress.com, I would want to know what kind of things you guys want. If it's primarily tshirts and hats, we can do that without cafepress. I would much prefer to give our business to someone associated with this website. The hats were made by a friend of someone who frequents this site. And I know someone here in globe that does tshirts. So I would much rather give local, hunter friendly businesses the chance to do the work rather than a more anonymous site like cafepress. One of the things that has kept me from making tshirts for the site is that I haven't come up with a good back design. I have been thinking of using some of Joe Cerreta's photos, but I am not sure how good they would look on a shirt. I was actually thinking of getting some prototypes made this Sept. when my time frees up more. I submitted one of the logos below to another hat maker (who is a board member of the ADA, again trying to use local, pro-hunting businesses) earlier this summer to try and get low profile hats made, but I haven't seen the prototype yet. For the fronts of the shirts or whatever, we can use the logos that have already been designed and that I have been using. Here are the two logos that I have been using. Bill Quimby graciously created them quite awhile ago for me. It's what I put on the hats we had made. He also created this one below here for me, which I didn't like as much, but some of you might. It has a nice crisp look that might make it better for a truck window sticker, perhaps done in all white. Which do you like best? I really like how he incorporated the ppear into the one, it captures a bit of the uniqueness of the coues deer. And I like other features of the other two also. Anyway, think about what it is that you would actually want and use and let's see if we can get something made. mugs? tshirts? hats? keychains? Here are some of the photos I thought would be good on the back or front of a tshirt. Or maybe we can get Rembrant to draw something for the back. Amanda Has anyone noticed the buck in the first pic? The top of his back looks like he has a big ol hole
Guest Ernesto C Report post Posted May 24, 2006 Hey Amanda, how about flags? You know a flag to identify a camp or flags to put on the antenas of quads or any other ATV? What do you my fellow members think? I want a CWT.com flag for my quad. Ernesto C
