Home Surveillance

Recommended Posts

OK, so here is the story.

Somebody rummaged through my wifes van last night, dug through the glove box, passed up some Advil, plastic forks, napkins. Quarters in the ash tray area, CD's below, CD player..................and took her coat off the back of the seat.

Nothing really special about the coat, minimal value.

We live on a corner and through the years have lost about 7 bikes that the kids forgot to lock up. One we found in the dumpster at the little league field, one we found being ridden at the local Police sponsored Bike Rodeo's.

Anyway. I want to put up a surveillance camera on my place, something that will allow footage to be recorded type of deal.

Anybody out there with some experience in the area?? Don't really want to spend bank on it but would like to get some footage of activity outside my front door.......

I put up an expensive system after my truck was broken into. If I were to do it again, I would buy several high quality game cameras with infra-red flash.

Most people asking this question want a covert camera, no-glow infrared so they do not know they just been had! high quality picture taking so you can zoom in and see who is in the photo and a fast trigger speed to catch them.

I have pm you to ask a few questions.

Lots of people use the Covert 2 cams as surveillance cams. You can use the Tree60 camera mount to mount it to your house and have it up out of the way of theives.

The coverts take great video and they can be programmed to only operate during certain hours so that you aren't filming your family coming and going so much.
