Red Rabbit Report post Posted April 8, 2010 http://fwpiis.mt.gov/content/getItem.aspx?id=42208 (I used a shorter link, but it may still take a few moments to download) See page 10 in the above regs. Motion-Tracking Devices and/or Camera Devices It is illegal for a person to possess or use in the field any electronic or camera device who’s purpose is to scout the location of game animals or relay the information on a game animal’s location or movement during any Commissionadopted hunting season. lucky2hunt Report post Posted April 8, 2010 Oh, Oh.... Interesting... The times are changing! It's too bad, over half the time I put cameras out just for the fun of it, I enjoy seeing 'what's out there'! The fact that is says "during any Commission adopted hunting season" only leaves a couple of months, if that, since there are so many different seasons. I hope Arizona stays away from this... Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted April 9, 2010 Seems like a pretty murky situation that can only get ugly. We are headed out this weekend to put up a cam, our first and looking forward to seeing what we can pick up on it. Even if it was a transmitting device, I would never be able to get there in time to take any advantage over the game.....too dang deep in the hills
