WFGinNM Report post Posted April 6, 2010 My Son is on spring break so yesterday we went to an area I've been wanting to explore. We ended up carrying out 4 browns, and 5 whites. Left another 12 whites up there. Little Bill's 1st brown elk of the year. He found the match nearby. His 1st brown Elk set of the year. Here he is carrying more for me to pack out. Getting ready for the 3 mile pack to the 4-wheeler. Hiking back... Found this one on the way out. Here is a shot of the 4-wheeler loaded and ready for the drive to the truck. Thanks for looking, --Bill

tjhunt2 Report post Posted April 7, 2010 Thanks for sharing. I'll be going turkey scouting in the next few days and hope to find a few bones of my own. I'll crash on the ground around a fire at the end of the day somewhere and can't wait to get back to the things that matter most in life. Hopefully I'll have a few coyotes to sing me to sleep. It just don't get any better than that. TJ

WFGinNM Report post Posted April 8, 2010 Thanks for the kind words everybody. I'm stuck being responsible (sort of) while Little Bill is out checking other places, I hope he does well. I wish we had Coues' around here they sure would be easier to pack out. --Bill
