Slump Buster

The faithful but useless shed dog and I went out and found the first brownie is quite some time. Plus, its the first time I've had the presence of mind to take the "as it lay" (or is it as it lie? :P ) picture. Couldn't find the match though.

Nice find!! And of course you found a shed, the dog is wearing GRONG orange!! :)

Maybe if the dog was wearing a grong orange CouesWhitetail.com tshirt, then you would have found a Coues shed!!

Awesome find...hopefully I can do the same today. Heading out around 1 or so. Actually taking my dog as well. Since we moved into town she gets no exercise and misses the woods. Hopefully we can find some bone! ;)

Amanda....maybe you should stock some Doggie Shirts "Shed Recovery Team".

I think it was the Grong orange dog vest that led us to it!

DB: :o Oh my. I was not aware of that connotation. Glad you told me before I used it too much, at least in front of baseball fans.

AZMSK: Yep, it’s the J34. I got it a couple months ago from Outdoorsmans (CWT.com sponsor, btw). It was my first time out with it but I really liked it. I got two large belt pockets and I’m glad I did. One is dedicated as a navigation/survival pack and the other is used for whatever else I want to keep handy. If you rig it right you can reach stuff without stopping and taking the pack off. Ultimately, my plan for this pack is overnighters which will require more weight and more time under the pack. That will be the real test but so far, so good. Feel free to PM me if you want more info.
