Now I'll have 7 months to search (after my return from Africa) and I just need you all to point me in the right direction....But I don't wanna know your secret spot or nothing... However GPS cords would be greatly appreciated as would photos of what a "good" elk looks like. Thanks in advance I know there are a lot of great people here and I look forward to your help on this great hunt! Sorry....just wanted to be the first E-Scouter of the 2010 season!!!! krp Report post Posted March 31, 2010 I'm assuming 23 or maybe 3C on the rim. Starting at the unit border... and 260... drive as fast as you can and I'll guarantee you'll get one... or seven. Make sure you are using enough caliber (vehicle mass) and running it at optimum velocity.... as always, shot placement is key and a broadside shot will get the job done quickly... a head shot will result in less meat loss.
