Basser15 Report post Posted March 27, 2010 Has anyone heard of people hunting coyotes with dogs? I never had but a lady at my clinic asked me what I knew about it because she is trying to research it and was wanting some information. Apparently her interpretation of it is that folks use the dogs to lure the coyotes into range by antagonizing or attracting the coyotes and then running back towards the hunter with the coyotes in pursuit behind them. Sounds a little far fetched to me but I told her I would post the question to see if anyone out there knows anything about this technique. So....anyone have any information? firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted March 27, 2010 Its legit. Tony Tebbe over on Predatormasters.com just posted that his dog Gunner decoyed his 300th dog... THIS SEASON! Just look under articles index from January "5000 coyotes worth of experience" if you email Tony he will get back to you with lots of good info, he breeds the dogs and trains them as well.
