Recommended Posts

Hey guys i'm buying a ram 1500 and its not a 4X4 (I know how could I, it was a real good deal) so I am looking for a wench that you might want to get rid of. Need something that can pull a half ton pick up. Let me know, thanks adam 480 586 0946

Good one Mr. Quimby. I was going to say a wench rides in the truck and a winch sits on the front......

Some wenches belong in the back of the truck, especially the bigger ones

I think all "wenches" are used in some degree or fashion. The difficult part will be finding a used wench that still has some natural lustre and shine, and is cheap as most wenches have a high associated cost.

I saw a bunch of wenches real cheap on eharmony.com the other day. But remember all a winch is gonna do is help you get out of somewhere you were never supposed to be. I had a wich on my dodge pictured in my avatar and i can honestly say that i never got closed to using it.

And if it's a good shiny wench and you show it off for all to see, some one is likely to steal it. So, find a capable wench without all the showy bling that will be reliable and be around for years.

A 3500# winch with all the mounting hardware, remote or switch operation new in box was in the Flagstaff Daily Sun today. Here is the number 928-607-7173. The price was $180.00

not to throw sand in your eye, but if I were in the market for a winch I wouldn't put any money into one that wouldn't be dependable. Cheap can be very costly. If I were unable to spend the cash required for a quality winch I'd look into a Hi-Lift Jack, some chain, and maybe some come-alongs. Those will get you out of most any bind you could get into. Just sayin. Good luck and good wheeling.
