thegunsmith2506 Report post Posted March 21, 2010 I was just about to hang it up for the summer, but I got a phone call Saturday morning. A local rancher is losing calves and asked me if I would come do some calling. We headed out Saturday afternoon for a few stands. The wind was pretty tough, but on the 7th stand we had this Grey come in at the 4min mark. I shot him at about 10yds with 2oz Copper plated BB's. Sorry about the pics! After 5 years of banging around my pack, my Sony camera finally died. On stand #9 we had 2 coyotes come in to dist. sounds. I got the female, but no luck on the 2nd dog. All in all not too bad. I guess I will try to rifle hunt these coyotes for the next few weeks and see if I can kill a few more. I am almost finished with my Ar-15 and can't wait to try it out. king4wd Report post Posted March 22, 2010 Good work Brandon! Those must be some monster calf killin' foxes! A buddy and I made it out for one last day of calling on Friday. Called 6 fox and only killed 2. The fur was just about too far gone to make it worth it. We'll be back out there in October.

I will probably try to shoot a few more yotes off the ranch. I can't wait till October!
