luvdemcoues Report post Posted March 20, 2010 Quick question... I crushed the shoulder of a some of my brass but didn't realize it until I had done it to a few of them. I have already pulled the bullets and emptied the powder, but what do I do with the brass and unfired primers? I am not going to keep the brass, I was just curious about how to dispose of the unspent primers with them still in the brass... Thanks.
ac guy Report post Posted March 20, 2010 Just throw them in the fire next time you're at camp with your buddies.
ac guy Report post Posted March 20, 2010 Just kidding. I take it the cases won't chamber? If they will, just fire them, and throw the brass in the recycle bin.
Red Rabbit Report post Posted March 20, 2010 If it's just little dimples from too much lube when resizing, I'd would have just fired them as loaded and the dimples come out, just like fire-forming. Or did you push the neck down into the shoulder? Put a little (few drops or so) used motor oil down into the case to ruin the primer.
Benbrown Report post Posted March 20, 2010 A little WD-40 will kill them, too.
